Where We Began

Born From a Simple Idea

Golden Companion started in Tokyo in 2024, when a group of caring engineers and designers noticed that many older adults felt left behind by technology — not because they couldn't learn, but because technology simply wasn't designed with their comfort in mind.

We set out to change that. We built Grace — a warm, patient AI assistant who speaks clearly, listens carefully, and genuinely helps with the things that matter most each day.

Our goal is simple: help every person feel more connected, more organized, and more confident — regardless of how tech-savvy they are.
